Chrome Browser Cookies

If your calculator keeps telling you that it is expired or un-registered and you know your registration date has not yet expired, you may want to check your Chrome browser cookie settings.

The What If Calcualtor uses browser "cookie" or small bits of information stored with your browser to remember your name and expiration date.

You will need to have access to the Internet when you (re-)register your calculator to verify your purchase and assign your name to the calculator.

To check that your Chrome browser is not clearing your cookies each time you exit your browser:

1. Select "Settings" from the Chrome menu (icon on the far right side of the tool bar):

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page and look for the "Advanced" link:

3. Scroll down to the "Content Settings" section and click:

4. Click on the "Cookies" section:

5. Make sure the "Keep local data..." setting is turned off (grey):

Note:  There is no "Save" button for changing the settings.  They are saved as you change them.
